Where to Ski at Christmas: The Best Resorts for Christmas Week
There is no single best resort for Christmas, because the week is asked to do two contradictory things at once: deliver reliable snow, which means altitude, and deliver atmosphere, which usually means an old village lower down.
This ranking leads with snow, because a Christmas with no skiing is a harder failure to recover from than a Christmas in a concrete resort. Where two resorts are close on snow, the one with the better Christmas wins. Every score below is our Christmas Snow Score, and each resort page shows exactly how it was calculated.
