Chalet Premiere Neige

Chalet Premiere Neige is a self-catered chalet in Val d'Isère, sleeping 15 in 5 bedrooms. It is ski-to-door, so skis go on outside and the day ends without a walk in boots, which helps with a group at Christmas. It has a sauna and a fireplace. A log fire on Christmas Eve is one of the reasons people book a chalet over an apartment. Beds: 11 singles and 2 bunks, with 6 bathrooms.

Val d'Isère scores 73 out of 100 on our Christmas Snow Score, with the village at 1849m. That is among the more dependable places to be skiing in Christmas week.

At 15 guests this is a whole-group chalet — two or three families, or the kind of Christmas where everybody comes. It lists family facilities such as a high chair or family rooms, which is the detail that decides it for anyone travelling with small children. It is self-catered, so you cook — including on the 25th. That suits groups who want to eat on their own schedule.

Resort supermarkets keep short and unpredictable hours over Christmas and many close entirely on the 25th. Order ahead or shop on arrival. A chalet this size usually only goes as a whole, so it is a better fit for a group that has already formed. Pets are not allowed. Check the bed layout and what is included (linen, towels, final cleaning) on Booking.com before you book — Christmas week is often sold as a fixed seven nights.

Chalet Premiere Neige is in Le Fornet, in the Val d'Isère area. The nearest lift listed is Laisinant Express Ski Lift, about 90m away. The usual arrival airports for Val d'Isère are Geneva (GVA), Lyon (LYS), Chambéry (CMF). We do not publish transfer times, because they swing widely with traffic and road conditions on a Saturday in Christmas week.

Christmas week 2026 runs 19 Dec – 26 Dec 2026 — the Saturday-to-Saturday changeover most Alpine chalets work to, with Christmas Day falling mid-week.
