What this site is
Chalet for Christmas is an information and comparison site. We are not a travel agent, we are not a tour operator, and we do not take bookings or payments. Every booking is made with a third party on their own site under their own terms — Booking.com, Expedia, Skiworld or Kiwi.com — and your contract is with them.
Accuracy
We research what we publish and cite the source and date for measured figures such as altitudes and prices. Resorts change lifts, operators change what is included, and prices move. Check the detail with the provider before you book — particularly anything that decides your choice.
The Christmas Snow Score
The Christmas Snow Score is our own calculation describing how reliable a resort tends to be in Christmas week, based mainly on measured snow on Christmas morning since 1996, with altitude, snowmaking and glacier access. It is not a forecast and not a promise. Alpine snow varies every season, and no score on this site should be read as a guarantee of conditions in any particular year.

We provide this site in good faith and take care with it, but we cannot accept liability for a decision made on the basis of information here, nor for anything that happens in your dealings with a third-party provider. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Our content
The writing, the Christmas Snow Score methodology and the design of this site are ours. Please do not republish them. Quoting a short passage with a link back is welcome.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. This clause, and the company details that belong with it, are among the parts of this page that need a solicitor’s eye before launch.
Google Maps photos and satellite maps
Photos credited to Google Maps contributors, and the satellite maps on chalet pages and cards, are provided by Google and are also subject to the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service. A contributor photo is matched to the chalet by name and location, and we do not check every photo, so it may not show the chalet as it is today. A satellite map shows a location, not the property: its position may be approximate, and where we do not know the chalet’s exact location it shows the resort instead and says so.
