Switzerland is where you go when the view matters as much as the skiing. Zermatt beneath the Matterhorn and Saas-Fee ringed by thirteen four-thousand-metre peaks put the high mountains right outside the window on Christmas morning.

Of the Swiss resorts we cover, Saas-Fee scores highest on our Christmas Snow Score, at 87 out of 100, followed by Zermatt at 87. The score rates how reliably a resort tends to have skiable snow in Christmas week, mostly from how often there has been snow on Christmas morning at weather stations since 1996; it is not a forecast, and no resort can promise snow.
