Lively rather than quaint. There is a Christmas market, a torchlit descent and a busy bar scene. The resort is large enough that it never feels empty at Christmas, and the sunshine at lunchtime on a terrace is a genuine part of the appeal.

Christmas in Les Deux Alpes
Lively rather than quaint. Christmas Eve brings a ski show on the Lutins slope with an ESF torchlit descent and fireworks, and Father Christmas parades along the Avenue de la Muzelle in his sleigh on Christmas Day. New Year's Eve is a crowd on the main avenue at midnight.
