About Chalet Tenzing

Chalet Tenzing is a catered chalet in Val d'Isère, sleeping 7. It sits in the resort centre, which puts the shops, the bars and the Christmas market on the doorstep rather than at the end of a bus ride. Cots and family rooms are available, which is the detail that decides it for anyone travelling with small children.

Val d'Isère scores 73 out of 100 on our Christmas Snow Score, with the village at 1849m. That is among the more dependable places to be skiing in Christmas week.

Who it's for

  • Catered
  • Family friendly

7 beds is the classic family or small-group size. Being catered, nobody spends Christmas Day in the kitchen, which is the single strongest argument for a chalet over an apartment in this particular week.

Things to consider

Check the bed configuration directly with the operator — how a chalet divides its beds matters more at Christmas than the headline number.

Questions about Chalet Tenzing

How many people does Chalet Tenzing sleep?

Chalet Tenzing sleeps 7. Confirm the exact sleeping layout with the partner before booking — how a chalet divides its beds matters more at Christmas than the headline number, particularly with children.

Is Chalet Tenzing catered?

Yes. Chalet Tenzing is catered, so somebody else cooks — which for most groups is the whole argument for a chalet at Christmas. What is included on Christmas Day itself varies by operator, so check the board basis for the 25th specifically.

What does Chalet Tenzing have?

Family friendly. We list only what we hold a confirmed answer for — if something matters to your group and is not listed here, it means we have not verified it rather than that the chalet lacks it. Check with the partner.

Is there usually snow at Chalet Tenzing at Christmas?

Val d'Isère scores 73 out of 100 on our Christmas Snow Score, which rates how reliably a resort tends to have skiable snow in Christmas week. The score belongs to the resort rather than to this chalet, and it describes a tendency rather than a forecast — Alpine conditions vary from one December to the next and nobody can promise them.

Can I book Chalet Tenzing through this site?

No — we take no bookings and handle no payments. We link to the partners who do, and the booking options on this page go to their own live Christmas availability. If you book through one we may earn a commission, which does not change your price.
