Chalet Sideflip - OVO Network

Chalet Sideflip - OVO Network is a self-catered chalet in La Clusaz, sleeping 4 in 2 bedrooms. The nearest lift, Combe des Juments Ski Lift, is about 910m away, so plan on a bus or a drive to the snow each morning. Beds: 2 singles and 1 large double, with 1 bathroom.

La Clusaz scores 25 out of 100 on our Christmas Snow Score, with the village at 1040m. That makes it more dependent on the weather in late December, which is worth weighing before you book.

Sleeping 4, it suits a couple or one small family. It is self-catered, so you cook — including on the 25th. That suits groups who want to eat on their own schedule.

It is not ski-to-door, so factor in getting to the lifts each morning. Resort supermarkets keep short and unpredictable hours over Christmas and many close entirely on the 25th. Order ahead or shop on arrival. Pets are not allowed. Check the bed layout and what is included (linen, towels, final cleaning) on Booking.com before you book — Christmas week is often sold as a fixed seven nights.
