Chalet Bourget

Chalet Bourget is a catered chalet in Alpe d'Huez, sleeping 12. It sits in the resort centre, which puts the shops, the bars and the Christmas market on the doorstep rather than at the end of a bus ride. Cots and family rooms are available, which is the detail that decides it for anyone travelling with small children. It has a hot tub and a sauna. In the last week of December the afternoons are short and everybody comes in cold, which is when an outdoor hot tub stops being a luxury and starts being the best thing in the resort.
