The tourist office's programme for the 2026 season has a Christmas market in Hinterglemm on the three Advent weekends before Christmas, a traditional Christmas concert on 23 December and the ski instructors' torchlight run on New Year's Eve. The rest of the time the bars set the tone.

Christmas in Kitzbühel
Among the best in Austria. The Kitzbühel Advent market runs in the old town and the town park from mid-November until just after Christmas (in the 2026 season, 18 November to 27 December), with craft stalls, live music every evening, a Christkindl post office for children and a St Nicholas procession on 6 December. On two December afternoons (12 and 19 December in 2026) Advent moves up the mountain to the Hahnenkamm top station.
