Chalet Milou

Chalet Milou is a self-catered chalet in Les Gets, sleeping 12 in 6 bedrooms. The nearest lift, Turche Ski Lift, is about 500m away, so plan on a bus or a drive to the snow each morning. It has a fireplace. A log fire on Christmas Eve is one of the reasons people book a chalet over an apartment. Beds: 4 large doubles, 2 bunks and 2 singles, with 4 bathrooms.

Les Gets scores 49 out of 100 on our Christmas Snow Score, with the village at 1172m. That makes it more dependent on the weather in late December, which is worth weighing before you book.

Sleeping 12, it suits a large family Christmas or two families travelling together. It lists family facilities such as a high chair or family rooms, which is the detail that decides it for anyone travelling with small children. Pets are allowed, so the dog can come for Christmas too. It is self-catered, so you cook — including on the 25th. That suits groups who want to eat on their own schedule.

It is not ski-to-door, so factor in getting to the lifts each morning. Resort supermarkets keep short and unpredictable hours over Christmas and many close entirely on the 25th. Order ahead or shop on arrival. A chalet this size usually only goes as a whole, so it is a better fit for a group that has already formed. Check the bed layout and what is included (linen, towels, final cleaning) on Booking.com before you book — Christmas week is often sold as a fixed seven nights.

Chalet Milou is in Les Gets. The nearest lift listed is Turche Ski Lift, about 500m away. The usual arrival airports for Les Gets are Geneva (GVA). We do not publish transfer times, because they swing widely with traffic and road conditions on a Saturday in Christmas week.

Christmas week 2026 runs 19 Dec – 26 Dec 2026 — the Saturday-to-Saturday changeover most Alpine chalets work to, with Christmas Day falling mid-week.
