Chalet 3 chambres 8 pers avec cheminée et parking à 1000m des pistes

Chalet 3 chambres 8 pers avec cheminée et parking à 1000m des pistes is a self-catered chalet in Les Carroz, sleeping 8 in 2 bedrooms. The nearest lift, Plan Moulin, is about 690m away, so plan on a bus or a drive to the snow each morning. It has a fireplace. A log fire on Christmas Eve is one of the reasons people book a chalet over an apartment.

Les Carroz scores 48 out of 100 on our Christmas Snow Score, with the village at 1140m. That makes it more dependent on the weather in late December, which is worth weighing before you book.

Sleeping 8 is the classic family or small-group size. It is self-catered, so you cook — including on the 25th. That suits groups who want to eat on their own schedule.

It is not ski-to-door, so factor in getting to the lifts each morning. Resort supermarkets keep short and unpredictable hours over Christmas and many close entirely on the 25th. Order ahead or shop on arrival. Pets are not allowed. Check the bed layout and what is included (linen, towels, final cleaning) on Booking.com before you book — Christmas week is often sold as a fixed seven nights.
