La Vieille Maison

La Vieille Maison is a self-catered chalet in La Plagne, sleeping 18 in 7 bedrooms. It is ski-to-door, so skis go on outside and the day ends without a walk in boots — with a group at Christmas, that matters more than almost anything else on a listing. It has a hot tub, a sauna and a fireplace. In the last week of December the afternoons are short and everybody comes in cold, which is when a hot tub stops being a luxury and starts being the best thing in the resort.
