Christmas in Serre Chevalier
Christmas feels like village life rather than a resort show. Last season the ESF held torchlit descents at Villeneuve on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, and there were New Year's Eve fireworks at Chantemerle. Briançon's old town adds a sense of occasion.

Christmas in Montgenèvre
Simple and friendly. In recent seasons Christmas Eve has brought a parade with Father Christmas, lantern descents for children and an ESF torchlit descent at the foot of the slopes, followed by mulled wine and hot chocolate for everyone. New Year's Eve ends with fireworks.
